Suzuki is celebrating a major achievement at the 2025 Scottish Car of the Year Awards, where it received recognition for its exceptional commitment to Aftersales service. The award was presented to Suzuki GB PLC by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW) during their annual awards dinner on November 27 at the Dalmahoy Hotel in Edinburgh.

The ASMW’s 11 members assessed manufacturers on their dedication to Aftersales support through both head office and dealer networks, focusing on customer service excellence. Suzuki emerged as the clear winner, taking home the Best Manufacturer Aftersales Service award.

Key factors behind Suzuki’s success included strong dealer–customer relationships and its industry-leading warranty coverage of up to 10 years / 100,000 miles.

ASMW President Ally Ballingall commented:

Suzuki earned the award for its outstanding customer care, reliability, responsive support, efficient repairs, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Its 10-year service-activated warranty provides peace of mind, consistent service standards, and excellent value setting Suzuki apart from the competition.

For Suzuki owners, the warranty is offered free of charge and activated once the original manufacturer warranty (three years / 60,000 miles) expires, provided the annual service is completed within the Suzuki Dealer network. The warranty remains valid until the next qualifying service and can be renewed up to a maximum of 10 years / 100,000 miles. Major components are covered, and if the car is sold within this period, the warranty transfers to the new owner at no cost.

Additionally, the recently launched e-Vitara model includes up to 10 years of EV battery warranty eight years from the manufacturer plus two years service-activated.
