Suzuki is very pleased to announce that it has won two category awards for Swift Hybrid at the Scottish Car of The Year ceremony held in Edinburgh this week by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.

Swift was voted as Best Small Car of The Year as well as having the Best Eco Performance following intensive testing over the last 12 months. The 14 members of the Association recently assembled to cast their votes for the best new cars on the market.

For the Small Car Award, Alisdair Suttie, President of the Association said “The Suzuki Swift stands out in a hotly contested class thanks to wide range of talents that include a fine drive, superb economy, a long list of standard equipment, and excellent practicality. The judges were bowled over by just how good the latest Swift is - it's the very definition of what this class should be”.

For the Best Eco Performance Award, Alisdair Suttie continued: “The judges were looking at more than just mere numbers, they wanted a winner that worked brilliantly as an everyday car and one that didn't make demands on its driver - the Suzuki Swift Mild Hybrid was the obvious winner. No matter how you use the Swift mild hybrid, it's frugal, clean, and a joy to live with.

The hybrid Swift range is currently available with 0% PCP and taking the Motion model with manual transmission as an example, a deposit of £4,996 is required followed by 24 monthly payments of just £139. A final payment is then required to keep the car at the end of the agreement.
