OUR PROUD HISTORY
West End Garage was originally built as a garage in 1929 and is still located in the heart of Broughty Ferry. The business has been in the same family ownership since 1972 and has represented a number of different motor manufacturers in this time. Alfa Romeo was at the heart of the business from 1975 to 1989 and Mazda joined the franchise for a spell during the latter part of the 70’s also. More recently we have catered for Honda from 1978 to 2024 and in 2013 West End Motor Group brought Suzuki back to Broughty Ferry after a 10-year absence. The dealership has gone from strength to strength, whilst the popularity of the Suzuki range has ensured that each day, more and more new Suzuki cars drive off our forecourt to homes in Tayside and Fife.
We have managed to build a loyal customer base over these years, and we pride ourselves on good customer service with a friendly and helpful approach to all aspects of motoring requirements.
Our expansion over the years has included the addition of our City Centre Service facility, City Quay Car Services. Plus, our vehicle rental facility, WE Rental, at City Quay has allowed us to expand our offering to the local motoring community. Our acquisition of Kevin Pirie & Son into the West End Motor Group family in 2024 is another exciting addition of a local name that people have trusted for years to deliver a quality service for their motoring needs.
We are proud to be an independent group and with the directors and managers of the business all keen car enthusiasts, plus a team of well-trained technicians and support staff, you can be sure that we can look after just about any aspect of motoring requirement you may have.
